The Joy from MGS3. She needs a hugI figured since I was trying to paint I'd also switch up the style. I've always been a huge fan of 's work so I thought I'd make an attempt at his style.
Ended up with a mash up, I hope he doesn't mind.

Not really a fan of Hector's proportions, but if you get his painterly color approach down, I'd say that's a BAM! in my book!

It took me a while to appreciate his work, but the way he just seems to attack his work with so much confidence. Time for more practice

Yeah, he definitely doesn't care what others think of his work, which is hard to attain in the least. However, confidence doesn't equal correct-looking anatomy; I don't want you to fall in that trap.
But you mixing your style with painting like his, that's a winner.

Heh yeah but its jus your first try, Im sure you get away from you style and the speed will pick up once you get a comfortable flow.
You should do a live painting session, I think that'd pretty cool to see.
