Another Monster Hunter pic, must be Monday.Post work sketch of the Lao-Shan Lung set. One of the coolest looking sets IMO. I got pretty good at taking the big guy down. Well, most of the time.

you ever notice how he never seemed that big as he rolled outta the mist, then as he continued to approach the field each step he'd get closer and bigger filling you with more and more dread till his head passed over you like a super star destroyer over a jedi.

Nice piece of art. Just wondering, besides the Borealis armor set, what is the longsword the character's using? It vaguely resembles a black katana.

Judging by the hilt I think I was going for one of the long swords from the Wyvern Blade series

hmm i see, because there is that slight hook-like spike jutting out of the blade. i dunno, maybe. Doesn't look like a wyvern blade to me, but hey, that depends on opinion.

Have to say thats one of my favourite sets looks wise only ever made it in Monster Hunter though never got round to it in any of the other games and ive played all the ones that have made it to the UK
