I find it ironic that Kishimoto thinks that Tenten is one of his favorite characters. If this was true he would have given her some more screen time

Even though Tenten was pretty much a living prop (Kishimoto more or less said as such), she was hilarious in the spin-off manga about Rock Lee. I recommend it if you just need to have a laugh.
