конкурс такой был. В этом году тоже начался, но организатор всё это дело завернул. Уж не знаю почему.
Даётся некий сеттинг, в котором нужно изобразить персонаж с уставным классом, расой, характерными расовыми особенностями. Одни соревнуются в 2D, другие в 3D. На всё про всё 3 месяца.
У каждого арт-комьюнити свой логотип, почти от каждой страны. На форумах люди заводят топик с именем своего персонажа, и выкладывают WIP, чтобы все видели процесс и свои перспективы). Очень полезно для обучение, надо признать. Потом происходит отбор 75 лучших из нескольких тысяч, а из этих 75 ведущие художники многих громких игровых студий отбирают 20. Но основные вкусные плюшки достаются, конечно, первым 3м. Было интересно, в общем.
