This picture rocks! Visually, I love the photo. The title of this piece rases some questions though. Because of the title, Size Doesn't Matter, I'm drawn to search for support of this statement. Because the robot is the biggest, I'm guessing the robot is being defeated. So at first I thought the sword in the robot's hand was some part that was proken off from the robot.
It's missing it''s lower half. It takes thought to reach this conclusion because there isn't a lot of edividence of dammage in it's hind quarters. In fact, it might not be missing it's hind quarters but could be crawling from a hole in the gound. If it was missing it's hind quarters and had dragged itself to attack the man with it's gun, then their ought to be drag marks behind the robot.
As far as the man goes, it's not clear why he's there. He could have happened upon this damaged robot, and the robot doesn't like the man's attention, so the 'bot tries to kill him with it's weapon. The man seems to have nothing capabile of killing this robot, so it's hard to believe that at his size, he could do that without something very significant. The man doesn't appear to be scared of the robot. He's standing there with a blaster and a rifle.
So I love the image and it makes me excited. It'd make a great book cover because I'd want to read how that guy could have stopped that robot.
