Strix (pl. striges or strixes) was the Ancient Roman and Greek word for owl. In folklore it was considered a bird of ill omen that fed on human flesh and blood, a product of metamorphosis. The name is Greek in origin and means "owl" (the name of the genus Strix follows this meaning).

interesting design.
Would leave the specs to CCP though, a frig with 6400 Shields and even more Armor (plus Structure), CPU/Cap and Structure are nowhere near realistic.
You seem to had a lucky hand at dicing out numbers of the Aquilon (if you take the Cap by 50%), but you horribly overdone this one.
You also seemed to had a lucky hand at modeling and texturing the Aquilon, which perfectly fits into EVE and looks amazing.
