Strix (pl. striges or strixes) was the Ancient Roman and Greek word for owl. In folklore it was considered a bird of ill omen that fed on human flesh and blood, a product of metamorphosis. The name is Greek in origin and means "owl" (the name of the genus Strix follows this meaning).

This together with the Aquilon, are one of my favourite entries. This is SO EVE that CCP would be dumb to not pick it!

I think it looks incredible - its a step up from a lot of ships currently in eve, we've had the Scorpion upgrade and anything that can leap ahead of the current designs should be added. Awesome job! If this isn't in EVE then I'd like to see it in Homeworld 3

The competition is REALLY tough. I don't expect mine to hold up. I've only done vectors for the right side so far (still have to complete it and possibly make a 3d Render.... If I stay in the race)

The Aquilon is your best shot. This one looks nice in and of itself, but it doesn't appear to belong to any specific faction, and I'm afraid the design just doesn't read.
