My finished piece for a scholarship I'm trying for at my High School.

This file is so MASSIVE that it won't upload in a couple places (*cough*tumblr*cough*) which is a little unfortunate because I refuse to distort it to fit to the limits, but oh well, it seems to work fine here.
So I attended Schoolism workshops last week and got to learn a lot of stuff about art and meet some really amazing people who work in that world, it was a life changing experience really, and from looking at my last pieces to this one, I can see dramatic change and improvement, which I'm so unbelievably proud of.
That said, I really hope this picture is able to convey the emotions I tried to put into it and I really hope you guys like it! For a little bit of background information on the characters, it's two of my main OCs, Jofan and Penelope. Penelope is a happy happy happy person and Jofan is, eh, not as happy. But Penelope forces herself into his life and is able to make him feel happy again and she is able to introduce him to new people and together, everyone goes on adventures and struggles through school. The friendship between Penelope and Jofan is my favourite out of all the other characters because of the value and depth that it has, so I chose these two as my main focus for the piece.
Anyways, I wanted to upload this before I go away for a bit to keep working on school related stuff. Summer is soon and then at long last I can draw with relaxation instead of anxiety aa
