Damn, y'know for representing something you don't like so much it sure is aesthetically pleasing and doesn't seem much negative at all, more neutral than anything. Honestly, I don't mind that and it doesn't affect my opinion of the peice at all, but it's presentation does confuse me a bit.
Anywho, lovely work here. I like your choice to keep the number of hues down, works really well for this and besides, more would've cluttered it. 
Speaking of clutter though, I love the focused, rough, controlled textures coupled with the smooth 2D and organic object work. It's beautiful stuff. Makes for nice composition which obviously makes a better peice of art. X3 Lovely, all and all!
