That must have taken a long time to draw the plaits   I quite like the free spaces - they accentuate the patterns. Maybe if you filled in the spaces, you might not see the patterns so well.

Since the original drawing is DIN A3, the plaits took a while.  

Thank you for your opion. You're right. I will leave the free space. Sometimes less is more.
