so ya, i gots pepakura and decided to make a recon helmet as a test to see if i leik paper crafting, which i do!bloody thing took me 4 days solid work

well, how to go about strengthening the paper, its quite weak. and then ill have to strengthen the assault rifle too

I used Fiberglass Resin and lightly painted it on with a big brush and that helped it keep its shape and from tearing easily. If you really really want to strengthen it or add bondo afterwards. Put fiberglass material on it and you apply that on with fiberglass resin. That makes it hard as a rock. Then from there you can put Bondo on (Body Filler). That will give it a more bulky look ever so slightly and you can sand it down to get rid of some of the hard edges you know shouldn't really stick out. Keep sanding till its ready to paint and there you go!
