Cuz I'm goin' down.So, where was I going with this? Is that a joint? Well scuse me, joints are hard to draw, 'parantly.
I only used drugs to illustrate a point. One of many things including several disorders that can remove you from reality.
If you know me well enough, it doesn't take long to realize i got issues. And that I have a firm grasp of just how cruel reality is. So, as a person, I am fully aware of the allure of insanity; of your OWN reality. Of retreating to that happy place within yourself where no one else exists, where you can be safe from the world- if only temporarily.
It sort of comes down to that question. Be miserable in the real world, or happy within yourself?
I'm afraid I can't answer that.

That's interesting symbolism! I really like the how the character is dark & despairing to look at but then it turns to brightly colored happy symbols. The symbolism is very nice. It really shows two sides to drug abusers. This is very nice.

The cruel mistress known as reality... I have to get through the day with her in my face the entire time... It's quite hard... Unfortunately it's a burden we all must deal with. Though everone seems to have their ways to escape reality's grasp. Me, I play video games and write (novice level) stories and imagine myself in the various fantasy worlds I'm exposed to. Seems kinda odd, but it helps prevent me from losin' my mind... And I just realised I fail at tryin' to be deep and meaningful XD -shot repeatedly-
ahem... Anyways, I love the obvious work you put into this pic. I may not be a fan of drugs and stuff like that, but I do like the "escape reality" message here. Awesome job!

im not a huge fan of drugs, but yeah i do have astrong imagination and i seem to suffer from not wanting to deal with reality. its been my main stress recently but y'know.. not gonna get into that. xD

That is what the Police Officer and every fucking person has told me
that has wagged they're finger and said 'Drugs are Bad' sort of stuff
they teach you in health class. I Call Bullshit. People use drugs
to escape the real world and relieve stress that they have on they're
shoulders. We all have issues even I must admit that (cause I do).
