AGAIN I remind you all of the amazing sadness that is Mewtwo's full origin. I cried my eyes out the first time I saw it, and I still get teary every time I see it. If anything deserves the word 'tragic' other than Romeo and Juliet, it's this!

Your style is very unique, and it works well for the scene portrayed here. You've captured the friendship and happiness shared between Ai and Mewtwo (and also the other clones). And I love the shading -- it's very well done.

1st time: Ai died in a car accident. This is never said in the movie, but is mentioned in "The Birth of Mewtwo" CD drama (never dubbed). If interested, you can read the script here: [link] and the CD is available on Amazon.com.

For the Japanese or English version, though? I've heard there's a few English novelizations, but the only one I read was the one by Tracey West. I recall there being nothing mentioned at all about Amber or Ambertwo, nevermind an Amberthree. And I didn't even know there was a limited edition to one of the novelizations.
I'm not doubting you. The reason why I'm asking is because I'm honestly intrigued and would like to hunt down a copy

I think most people don't reference the CD drama/CD book because they simply haven't heard of it, despite its old age. Most people think Ai only shows up in the short film.

I wish they would bring back amber but the sad reality is that her father was killed by mewtwo in the movie, taking away any chance for amber to be revived. it is sad, but it is the truth.

Well, not entirely. She was the closest thing ot a live human reproduction yet produced, and Team Rocket surely had backups of all the research. Anyone who wanted tot ry again who had access to that material would probably try with her since everything is already set up, and the test runs and bugs.

I like the way you drew Mewtwo and Charmander (actually I like the way you drew Charmander alot better than the series actually). Bulbasaur came out lookin ok, but Squirtle doesn't look very cute
