This started out as an experiment with dForce on the cape and ponytail (neither of which look like dForce was necessary to achieve this look in this case). After placing the character I noticed I had a wind direction going so I just matched the Iray rain and post effects to the direction. Just one spotlight and very low default environment light. I learned how to create random brushes in GIMP so that was a plus.
