This year at anime-expo, I decided to participate in the masquerade to prove my craftsmanship to myself. I have been cosplaying since 2009 and this is the first time my costume has been on stage in front of hundreds of people (this number might be an understatement). I had no idea participating in the masquerade was going to take soo much of my event time that I could barely get a photo of my costume. A bunch of "friends" dispised me for my lack of communication (Hey...my phone was dead i stayed up all night and forgot to charge the thing :/) and I only walked the floor from the time I picked up my badge to attending rehearsal for the Masquerade. Other than that, I was mainly at the cosplay repair station and in meetings.
But hey!!! Despite the unexpected turn of events at AX this year, I won Best in Class for the Master's Division and so glad I got this Freaking Awesome Picture of my Cloud Remake Cosplay thanks to my photographer--it really captures the essence of my anime expo experience this year.
