i am obviously being really creative with titles haha :'). / totally not

so i decided to join a contest after a long time.

the last time i entered a contest was like one year ago, and i remember having fun working on my piece so i thought why not

so i drew 's waterdog ! because she really deserves more art of her characters from me.
she has been such a good friend, and i love her so much <3
so naturally i chose her waterdog for the contest

however, i need to admit this took much longer than expected. this piece somehow took me 4 hours.
i think its mainly because its the first time i draw an underwater piece, and i am not that good at underwater scenes yet.
obviously, i am really weak at drawing water cripples so if you have any tips feel free to let me know !

i also need to admit i found it hard to draw seal anatomy. lots of pics i found of seals were pretty vague, so i didnt know how i should have drawn the tail and the paws. so just like with the water cripples, if you can spot any mistakes feel free to let me know about this too, or just any critique in general is welcome ; )
