Description
"Okay ladies, emergency meeting!" Sermin announces loudly. Kazumi looks up, and this action causes Cash to be on alert as well. Being deaf makes her slightly on edge about any possible danger. She relaxes when she notices that it's only Sermin Kazumi is looking at.

"Sure Sermin, what's up?" Kazumi trots over, looking over her shoulder to make sure Cash is coming along as well. All three mares have one thing in common; they're all mates with Apollo . And when he's not around they all tend to talk about him in one way or another! This just may be one of those times.

"Well. I have noticed lately that our wonderful Apollo seems to be...languid lately." Sermin speaks slowly and clearly so Cash can easily read her lips. "For instance, he's been tearing around the territory like his tail's on fire. Even when he's off scout duty."

"Oh! I've noticed something too now that you mention it Sermin...he'll take me to the ocean and just stare at it. Like there's somewhere else he needs to be. I know he's not from here but it's still odd." Kazumi recalls her recent experiences too.

Cash licks her own lips nervously, scared of messing this up. "I'VE SEEN HIM DO WEIRD THINGS TOO!" She is about to say more, but Sermin taps her shoulder warningly. Cash sighs and tries to adjust her volume. "When he's with me he acts really super clingy and snaps at anyone who tries to interrupt our time or even look at us."

Sermin calculates this information and reaches a conclusion. "I think...he might be bored out of his mind here. Not sure why else he'd zoom around like an idiot, act all nostalgic, or pick fights."

"Agreed." Kazumi and Cash nod.

"But we won't know for sure unless we hold an intervention. Any ideas as to how we can trap him in one place for a real discussion? One he might not like?" Sermin asks hopefully. Three heads are better than one.

Cash glances around uncomfortably. "I guess I could be used as bait...he doesn't seem to be able to resist when I'm snoozing in that one meadow. It'd be a good spot to discuss stuff."

"Yea! And we can wait in the thicket until he shows up and gets comfortable. This has to be a positive interaction, not an attack." Kazumi giggles.

"Genius. We act at late noon." Sermin affirms. The mares break apart to go about their usual daily activities, minds burning with separate ideas as to how to handle things later on.

Apollo has finished up his daily rounds and is heading back to the herd. But wait! Is that...Cash? Yup, that's her! She looks so precious cuddled up in that meadow, with the dying sunlight slanting just right over her coat. Hnng surely no one would mind if he took a short detour just for today. Completely weak for the deaf mare he joyfully trots over to her.

Cash had waited long enough that she actually did doze off for awhile. Sure enough, the familiar sensation of Apollo whuffling at her muzzle wakes her up. She smiles sleepily up at him, his dark coat and golden mane an absolute vision against sun rays and pollen. He flops down and snuggles right up to her, resting his head across her warm back. She can feel his sides release a sigh of contentment.
"Hey Appy."

Kazumi and Sermin take the opportunity to step out and surround them. Apollo, who had been trying to sneak bites of berry from Cash's mane without being noticed, stops his bold attack and looks up at them.
"Ahhh, so many lovely ladies in one place! To what do I owe the honor loves?" He nuzzles Cash one more time before getting up.

"We're worried about you Apollo." Sermin admits straight up, stepping over to lick his cheek.

"Yea, we noticed you acting sort of funny lately, and want to see what's wrong." Kazumi nudges his shoulder. Cash also stands, moving next to Sermin in order to get a better lip-view.

"Me? Something wrong? No way, you're just seeing things." Apollo laughs nervously, glancing around like a trapped animal. There's no real escape from this!

Cash could only guess what his frantic mouth was saying. "Apollo, we are only asking because we love you."
Kazumi and Sermin bob their heads in total agreement.

Apollo stops freaking out. His heart swells instead full of warmth for these mares who, for whatever reason, decided that he was worth caring about. This is something he's not used to but would like to get familiar with. Words cannot describe how much he loves them all. "Okay...you're right. I'm not really happy here! Where I'm from there was always some sort of danger, something exciting going on. Horses to watch out for, horses that were dangerous. But here? Everything is exactly the same day in and day out. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being here! Nice horses are great, and I would never trade my time away from you sweeties. But...I must admit that I'm a little stir-crazy right now." He droops slightly in defeat.

All three mares move in to give him comforting nuzzles. He in turn nibbles at all of their manes. Kazumi is the first one to speak up. "Thank you for sharing, Apollo. It must be hard."

"I'm definitely staying here, but I don't know how to make it any better either." Apollo sheepishly smiles.

"Well...I guess we can each take an individual day and show Apollo the things we appreciate about this home." Sermin thinks out loud.

"Oh I like that! Yes please. It's a good idea, right?" Cash looks at Apollo hopefully.

"Are you kidding? Three entire days dedicated to each of you ladies?! That's the best scenario I could ever ask for!" Apollo laughs, totally thrilled at the prospect.

Sermin smiles as well. "Great! Now which one of us goes first?"
Kazumi and Cash look at her and each other nervously. Uh oh, there just might be some drama on the horizon over this one!

Ahhh I don't think they'd fight about it really XD But I do want to write an individual story for each of the mares, so if you don't want your character in one please let me know!!!
