(In the collab story Queenie and Blaze seemed to be on the same team while rooting for Twister and Kage. I was shocked that they sort of do have chemistry together 0.o)

"Hey Blaze , you got a minute?" Queenie saunters up next to the vibrantly-coated stallion. Of course he has a minute...things have been slow lately and all most of the Warriors have been doing lately is standing around regally. But it's always polite to ask.

Blaze looks over at her, feigning disinterest. "Hmm...since it's you, I'll have to think about it. Might have to make an appointment."

"Aw, I'd hate to disturb your flower meditation session for something as trivial as this big juicy apple." She fake-pouts, already turning to go. Her muzzle grins a bit when his eyes light up at the sight of the apple. "I guess you're just too busy at the moment...I'll leave you to it."

Blaze shakes his mane in distress at the thought of missing out on such a treat. "Ugh okay okay Queenie! I'll cancel everything and pencil you in for an emergency visit!" He squints at her reproachfully as she prances back over proudly. That darned mare might have an equally witty mind as his. "Where'd you get that anyway."

"Oh, it's just a little thing Kage found to thank us for our loyal service." Queenie tosses the apple in the air and catches it in her mouth. Blaze moves forward to snatch it. She pins her ears in reply while backing up slowly. "Nuh uh you hog! I'm going to make sure it's split evenly. It's for OUR work, not YOUR work."

Blaze frowns. "How will I know if you give yourself the bigger half or not? It's best if I take a bite first and you can have the leftovers." He moves in again, grabbing a huge chunk of the fruit with his teeth. Blaze is shocked that Queenie didn't let go of the apple; instead he finds himself gazing into her glistening dark eyes, their muzzles inches apart. His heart rate picks up and his face heats up despite himself.

Queenie is not letting this apple fall into his hooves! She does like his sudden flustered mood however...why is it so cute?! "What's the matter Blaze? Scared of a silly little mare like me?" With a deft snap of her jaw she chops the apple in half, making sure to brush their muzzles together in the process.

Blaze makes a squeaky sound, completely dropping his portion of apple, eyes wide in panic. Queenie finishes her delectable mouthful in complete amusement.

"Feel better soon, okay? I'll be sure to call ahead and schedule a visit beforehand next time." She giggles sweetly, licks some apple juice off of Blaze's face, and trots off back towards the herd.

All Blaze can do is choke out some unintelligible farewell. Oh that pesky mare!
