Name: Wraith

Gender: Male

Family: Nightmare Realm (dad), Uma (mother), Byte (older sister), Marvin (uncle)

Occupation: Bringer of plagues and death

Personality: Wraith, despite his terrifying exterior, is actually quite the softie. He enjoys waking up to the songs of birds and stopping along the side of the road to smell pretty flowers. He doesn't exactly have a heart but does his best to make his family happy! He hates his job since it makes innocent ponies miserable or sad. It tears him apart inside; he often retreats from society to hang out in the woods. Being surrounded by nature soothes his frazzled nerves and keeps him going. Wraith also enjoys dressing up for fancy events! Pretending to be handsome makes him feel a tiny bit better, so he'll often be found sporting a really cute tie or pretty hat. Sometimes he'll put on eyeliner or glitter to jazz up his skull. All in all, Wraith is a sweet pony trapped in a monster's body. He blames it on the long line of overly-helpful, overly-caring family tree that he was born into.

Top family tree: Nightmare Realm and Uma were an arranged marriage since no normal pony would go anywhere near Uma. They exchanged pictures of each other and wrote letters back in forth until they were comfortable personality-wise. They then got married and Uma moved into Nightmare's kingdom. Soon after they decided that spawning some lil monster foals wouldn't be a bad idea!

The first born is Byte. And Wraith followed a year or so after. Uma and Nightmare adore their scary kids and shower them with attention.

To the right, tea party: Wraith likes to be close to his family, but his favorite pony of all time is Uma's brother Marvin. He too has an exposed skull for a head, and he doesn't seem self-conscious about it. Marvin isn't much of a conversationalist but Wraith doesn't mind. Since no one likes to talk to him he'll willingly chat his uncle's ears off! Wraith loves tea since it makes him feel dainty and refined.

Below tea, teeth inspection: Marley is Wraith's Umbrum grandfather. He has an odd way of showing his love; he tends to inspect his grandson's teeth! This is to make sure that Wraith is keeping his bones nice and healthy. Calcium is an absolute must, and Marley will often have milk-drinking contests with him to keep him motivated. His grandmother, Rainbow Opal , is more chill and will bring her grandson plenty of raw meat to eat instead of forcing him to ingest calcium.

Very bottom, crop withering: Every so often Wraith is expected to cause problems to keep nature in balance. This is his least favorite job; seeing the pain and suffering that he causes makes him feel extremely guilty. Watching strong ponies forced to tears wrenches his gut the wrong way...during these times he'll often cry himself to sleep over it. But plagues are necessary to keep the world interesting so he continues to do so.
