Personality:

Helios is the youngest of the three. He may lack his sibling's brute force, but is just as talented in other categories. His way of attack is through word power. He is 100% a lying snake, but charming enough to convince you that his bite won't hurt. To get a good standing with others he acts like the sweetest fellow to ever exist, pretending to be super concerned with their welfare, and listening patiently to other's problems. But deep down he's gathering info; he's calculating their emotional weaknesses to exploit for his benefit. His exploitation might be something small, like tricking someone into giving him an apple. Or it can be something much bigger, like coaxing someone near a cliff claiming it's a shortcut. And shoving them off to their doom.

But to most horses he's an angelic trusted member who means no harm.

When it comes to exploitation he pushes all buttons: Emotional manipulation, emotional blackmail, blackmail in general, guilt-tripping just enough to make someone give in, flat out lying until someone believes it's true, giving his 'friends' the silent treatment when they don't listen, and doing favors so others feel obligated to do something for him in return. Some of it is harmful. Some of it is less severe. He is an expert at grooming others to his wants; he worms his way inside of their hearts and eats them from the inside out. He smiles when he lies. Or tells a lie very seriously with wide eyes. A very talented parasite.

This is very obvious when he deals with mares. When he's done with them they're often abandoned, pregnant, and convinced that him leaving is all their fault.

Helios is sadistic, apathetic, and is not afraid to hurt others to get what he wants. He's a master trickster and story weaver (planting false beliefs and ideas into horses' heads is his favorite hobby). Thankfully he does not want to become leader; he became Lieutenant just to make other horses trust him more. There is no real ill intent towards his herd members besides what he can get from them. His targets are a very different story however.

How did he get his scars? He's not telling. They aren't from his brothers since he managed to talk his way out of all the fights.
