Personality:
Maeve has that 'cool grandma' personality. She may not be a spring chicken, but she looks way older than she actually is to some horses. This she blames on her light-colored mane/tail. She won't dye it though since it's too much work and a waste of resources! She's delightfully snappy and sassy, coming up with witty dry comebacks to lighten up tense situations. No one can easily insult her without getting thoroughly roasted themselves! She has a big heart and hates to see anyone in pain; this is shown in how her eyes melt at the sight of each injury brought before her. When in a frantic situation she's not afraid to bark orders to get everything done correctly!
Maeve has another knack besides words. She specializes in pain-killing plants! Her years of discovery for this small niche of need pays off for those with severe wounds that are too painful to sleep easily with. Depending on the injury Maeve will prescribe different things. For massive cuts she'll make a poultice. For twisted (but not broken) limbs she'll give a dose that makes them really high for a few hours. For horses so much in pain they can't even think straight she'll prescribe a mix that will knock them right out for awhile so their shock can wear off. This creates a safer working environment for those who need to inspect the horse for pain causes.
