... Meanwhile, on a small planet far (but not too far) away, another princess was having some fun with balloons as well.

Rosalina and her friends, the Lumas, had taken a break from their exploring to have some fun with a bunch of oxidized balloons that had landed upon the planet; no doubt let go at some sort of party or parade. The balloons were soft and bouncy, yet made nice but somewhat muffled " POP! " noises, as the playful Lumas bounced them, and bounced on them.

The princess herself of course got hold of the largest balloon of the bunch; a very beautiful blue balloon, that still floated around just a little. “Oh no!” she giggled, caressing the blue sphere lovingly. “If we are not careful, you may float away completely! Let me hold you down, so that does not happen!”

Because the balloon was almost as big as she was, Rosalina’s feet did not even touch the ground when she sat herself upon it. She had of course removed her shoes before hand, because even though she would have enjoyed it, she did not want to break her new toy quite so soon. It was so squishy and bouncy, that she wanted to feel it underneath herself for at least a little while, before happily making it go all to pieces.

As she balanced herself upon the beautiful balloon, she briefly wondered if other people on different planets liked balloons as much as she and the Lumas did. Rosalina set up her telescope, and quickly came upon a sight that made her smile.

On a planet not to far away, inside of a castle that had rooms visible from the windows, two girls similar to Rosalina were playing very fun-looking games with balloons. Big balloons. And some of the games they played were ones that Rosalina had never even thought of trying before, until now. She would cheer every time a balloon would be burst, in some kind of new inventive way, as if one girl were trying to outdo the other in some kind of game.

The Lumas, having burst most of the smaller balloons, wanted to see Rosalina make her big balloon explode like a supernova. Although she really wanted to, this left her with a slight dilemma: how to pop such a big balloon, while keeping her eye on what fun thing the other princess’ were doing next?

This may be the last "Princess Playtime" picture, as I want to focus on other pictures for now. My drawing tablet is giving me some off-and-on problems, so I need to focus on some pictures that are nearly finished, before I try to do anything new.

I think Rosalina looks cute on top of that huge balloon, don't you
