Since I took as day off from modeling and can't even imagine all the things I can do with these precious hours, I figured to kill some time drawing.So, here's Pyrelight. Velvet Remedy is my favorite character in the story, but Pyrelight comes as a very close second. Who wouldn't want to have a balefire phoenix as a companion?
Since there aren't really good images of MLP phoenixes, I had to use a bald eagle as a reference for the shapes and feathers, and just added plenty of features from phoenix pictures. Made with a pencil in roughly an hour and a half, scanned and tweaked the contrast a bit. The scanner took a slice from the right side of the pic, but oh well...
