males and females are pretty even, ones with long hair are considered higher up since they can take care of it so well, their hearts obv can be stolen and broken and if that happens they die
if they find a mate the two can trade hearts to show they're together

The concept for the species is cute and the colors you have used are nice, but I think the reason It's not selling Is becasue the design itself Is really too simple for $5-$8. I don't mean the clothes I mean the patten...or lack of, on her tail and ears! (:

This adopt is absolutely gorgeously simple. I love it to bits.Β
I like it. But if detail = value/price to you then take a look at the HB there.
Since I consider them on the same detail level.Β
Maybe that will let you understand that its different for everyone

Oh wow that sold for way more than it should have! I understand what you mean but also in regards to that adopt some people get drawn in by the art and the artist who made it. Basically sometimes people buy an adoptable for the art and not the design value :<

A lot of art helps. But personally the art quality can be at its lowest. If its a gorgeous design I would go for it verses an HQ one.Β
Preferences, and the artist worked hard.Β
In the end it's their money and it shouldn't be criticized for their taste.Β
