As the title suggest - these are the 5 "best" twitter sketches as decided by derpibooru upvotes, twitter likes and my personal preference. I'm actually surprised how well Coffee Pinkie did. I guess the imagination of Pinkie's shenanigans afterwards did the trick. Sparkles the Wonderhorse is no surprise as it's a popular Twilight's incarnation done by ever popular TJPones. Same with Twiggie created by Jargon Scott. Hobbyhuman Lyra brought a lot of attention because it was a pretty clever idea, ngl... and a twitter likes wonder, color-swapped RD.
There was a sketch I omitted, that got a lot of likes, but I didn't quite like how it turned out artistically so I didn't include it here (the one with Flutters dressed as Pikachu)
