He can be rather silly and seemingly airheaded, for it can be rather hard to capture his attention sometimes. Maynard seems to always be off somewhere else in his mind, working through 'horse things' as Ange would describe them. He has an awkward kind of gait when he moves, which is really something to behold but perhaps not show others outside the barn. Currently he's not terribly useful for much more than comedic relief and pats, but he is an enjoyable part of the herd none the less.
