Nickolas lied on the bed, his eyes closed, his senses dead. All he could see were blurred images of ponies chatting above him. He couldn't make sense of their words. He tried to speak, but his mouth was dry and his eyes felt too heavy for him to open. Suddenly, he heard a feminin cry coming from the hall that slowly came closer to him. Oh no. he thought inside of him as the crying came closer. Nickolas tried to recognise the mare, to interpret the only pony that actually cared to visit him as soon as possible. He wanted to open his eyes so bad, to look upon that pony and give him a warm smile, but at the same time, the guilt he felt kept him back. Nickolas took a minute to pull himself together and slowly opened his eyes, withstanding the pain from his injured head as he raised it to see an orange T-shirt. He raised his sight and saw a mare wimpering right in front of him. Nickolas looked at shock and surprise.

"M-Mellany? H-How did you-"

Nickolas was interrupted when Mellany hugged him tightly. Nickolas was caugh by surprise. He felt Mellany's tears rolling down his neck, down to his chest. He hugged her back as tightly as she did. Mellany slowly moved away from him and looked at him in the eyes. She slowly approached him and her lips touched his in a slow and passionate kiss.

Once again, Nickolas was caught off-guard. Suddenly, he felt a presence to his left. He turned his sight and looked at a pony standing and staring at him, her pink mane straight and her dark eyes looking at him in disappointment.

"So Nick? Wasn't that what you wanted? Why hesitate now?" she said and immediately disappeared.

Nickolas looked back at Mellany, their lips still together. He didn't hesitate this time. He closed his eyes as well and kissed her back as he wrapped his arms around her waist. All of a sudden, Nickolas started shedding tears as well. He had just remembered what Pinkamina had said a while ago:

You two are drawn to each other like drops of water, like magnets, like the skin of our colour.

----

So yeah, I'm emotionally unstable again :/
But hey, I kept my promise (that's a little unusual for me really) and returned back to pony art
Anyway, this is a little part that I figured out a while ago, yesterday to be honest
And yep, it came out neatly
God, I wish a girl cared for me like that...
