Please do not repost, redistribute or edit my artwork without my direct permission. Thank you.Star Catcher and Skywishes’ first meeting! I intentionally drew them to look a bit younger than when I usually draw them, as my usual art of them is a good few years later. I don’t know if it comes across though. I used a screenshot from “Dancing in the Clouds” as a colour reference and inspiration.

I fucking LOVED these films when I was little I swear on my life. This scene literally has never left my mind. And these two omfg......omffgggggg just yes. Can anyone explain to me what is all this with Star Catcher X Skywishes being canon?
Given that G3 is very much "for kids" how did they manage to sneak up the thing there?

Well, the shippiness is strong with them because of just how cute they are together, but the real thing with them that you don't see with platonic friends: Just how long Star Catcher had had her eye on Skywishes before Skywishes even knew Star Catcher (or pegasi at all) existed.
Watch their episodes and it's easy to see why they're heavily shipped, but I never quite saw declaring them canon, especially when the much more lesbian pair of Star Flight and Heart Bright is ignored. (Seriously, those two finish each other's sentences, do the two-straws thing, and live together and share a bed.)
On top of that, we also have Minty accidentally kissing another mare on two - two!! - occasions! Yeah, g3 was the most lesbian MLP series even though FIM has Lyra and Bon Bon. I think they got away with what they got away with because it was direct-to-DVD instead of being made for airing on a network?
