This is a commission for featuring Yang Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna from RWBY. I fully support the 'Bumblebee' ship, making this a joy to work on This is a head canon scene, set during the events of RWBY volume 2, just after the dance at Beacon.

"I'm not asking you to stop. Just please, get some rest... not just for you, but for the people you care about."
After running herself ragged, Blake had reluctantly agreed to take some time to relax, and join her team mates for the party at Beacon. Sharing her first dance with Yang and spending the evening with Sun and her friends, Blake finally let herself forget about her search for Roman Torchwick and the White Fang - at least, for one night. However, as the night wore on, the strain, the stress and the severe lack of sleep finally caught up to the Faunus, taking the wind out of her sails.
Recognising how exhausted her team mate was, Yang made her excuses to their friends and cut the night short, escorting the cat-eared girl back to their dorm. Bleary-eyed and desperate for sleep, Blake was only too happy to see their room, the sweet embrace of her bed so agonisingly close. With help, she changed out of her dress and into her pyjamas, the cost of her relentless search weighing heavy on her as she struggled to keep her eyes open. Yang led her over to their bunk, but before she could tuck the tired feline into bed, Blake stepped in and wrapped her arms around her partner. Momentarily surprised, Yang tentatively returned the gesture as Blake mumbled something; it was only half coherent, but Yang definitely heard the words "Thank you."
"Don't mention it, I'm just glad you..." before Yang could finish, she realised she was taking all of Blake's weight. The Faunus had fallen asleep against her. With a small smile, the beautiful blond eased herself back onto her team mate's bunk, cradling the sleeping girl as she did. Blake stirred for only a moment, her eyes flickering as Yang lay back. With a sigh, Blake curled against her, nestling into her embrace, before drifting back to sleep.

I had so much fun working on this piece! As I mentioned, Blake x Yang are one of my ships, and to draw such a cute, affectionate scene of them makes me enormously happy
