Description
This is a commission for of Cloudchaser and himself catching a fireworks display.This picture presented several challenges for me, chief amongst them actually drawing a human face (anyone who knows me knows how much difficulty I have drawing humans). The second challenge was... well, the kiss on the cheek. As I learned from my Pinkie Pie picture in my Pony Petting series, even something meant to be entirely innocent and cute can slide into the realms of suggestive or crude. As such, I did my best to keep this picture as clean as possible so as not to cast the wrong idea - as far as I'm concerned, that's a platonic kiss!
... we'll see if anyone else thinks so...
On another note, I had enormous fun working on the fireworks! I love playing with shadow and light

I don't see anything suggestive or crude here, What I see is romance true love. To me human pony couples are no different than same sex or interracial couples. BTW I'm referring to Equestrian Ponies not real life equines. While I believe a human and a horse can share a special bond anyone with those of romance should watch the movie Zoo first.

And that individual in question paid for this picture for his own collection - it's hardly fair to say he stole it from you. So please, just enjoy the art for what it is. Or if it irks you so much, just forget this picture even exists. There's no need to get angry and offensive over one little picture.

You may have had a similar idea regarding Cloudchaser, but as I've told you before regarding my own work, just because you had a similar idea, doesn't mean it was exclusively yours. All you have to do is look for human/pony pictures and you'll find that lots of people have similar ideas. So please, just enjoy the art and stop taking it so personally - the person who paid for this picture doesn't deserve to be attacked just because he wanted a picture of his favourite pony.
So please, I'm begging you, just relax. And rather than being mad about someone else's picture, maybe you could come up with a picture and draw it yourself or get it commissioned by another artist. That way you would have a picture that would truly be yours and you could be happy with

Well I apologise if you're not a fan of my pony petting series. But not to worry, I'll be doing some more purely pony things again now. I need a break from drawing humans anyway before I move onto my next batch of pony pettings. So, hopefully it will be something you'll appreciate more, and that way everybody wins

Good question! The Mane 6 pictures were just a project I was trying out which proved very popular, and I guess that popularity inspired someone to ask for this commission. While admittedly this particular picture goes a little further than I'm entirely comfortable with, the rest are just intended to be seen as cute little pictures. Not creepy.
But I suppose its an "eye of the beholder" deal. Can't win them all
