Please DO NOT post any spoilers in the comments! I've only just read Chapter 33... Thank you!This is a Project Horizon edit of my previous picture. I've been reading the story for a little while now, and just got up to Chapter 33... anyone who has read it will understand me when I say I just had to draw something sweet and pleasant to take the edge off. And so I decided to remind myself of something I truly love about the story - Blackjack and Glory!
I love this couple to bits and really wanted to capture them in a blissful, peaceful moment, because they don't get nearly enough of them!
And after all the hardships and heartache they've been through so far, they deserve a little bit of peace

I know exactly what you mean with spoilers. But, the best thing is some of the more awesome moments can't be spoiled. Like how they're told and how BJ describes the situation.

Well, I'm on chapter 35 now, and the return of a few familiar faces has been an enormous treat! (which after the horrors of chapter 33 is a very welcome change)
I'm really enjoying it so far, and I really can't wait to read more

And yes... chapter 33... traumatic to say the least. But I'm pushing on through, and I'm excited to see where this crazy misadventure leads us next. Stay tuned, I'm sure there will be plenty more PH art on the way in the future

Everytime someone posts Fanart of this fic I always check for an update to the story.... as its usually the first notice I get that its been updated!
Wish it was posted to FIMfiction.... Google docs lags like heck, particually on popular files! D:

I count myself lucky that I'm so far behind - by the time I catch up, hopefully it'll be finished and I won't have to go through the agony of waiting for the next chapter. I hope you won't have to wait much longer, I know how anxious I get having to wait for something like that

Indeed, its nice to be able to have lots and lots to read, and knowing you have plenty next over for the next day, I personally only read these fics just before bed.
Though the length of most Horizons chapters... or even worse the Murky Number 7 Chapters often have me reading well into the night, or having to bookmark and read the rest the next night!

i have some issus with the story. it started out okay, but i have all the chapters down and, well........... things kinda fall apart as it goes on. unnecessary retcons, some of them close to being insulting. like the writer wants to try and one up the original fic yet does not know what he is diong. the last chapter i read made me all but hate the story. i like blackjack and several of the other characters, but the story itself..............
i don't know, maybe you will like it better than i do. it just rubs me in all the wrong ways. will say it does not feel like fallout equestria any more, and a lot of the retcons somber made for the story make me angry and, honestly, if they were removed, would improve the story.

meaning towards the lore of the original fallout. shoe horns in some gi ass conspiracy rather it just being, well, a war.

The conspiracies are part of the fun, there's lots of hidden conspiracies in the actual games if you take the time to look for them, or read between the lines.
Sure it doesn't follow along to the main story properly, but NONE of the side stories are canon to the main story anyway, and very few of them are canon to each other.

Well I'm sorry to hear that. So far I'm actually rather enjoying it, even if it does try to rip my heart outta my chest at regular intervals. It has taken a step or two (or three) into a lot of new ideas, but I'm happy to go with the flow and see where they take me. Kkat's original will forever be the definitive, perfect story, but I love to see what others have written after being inspired by it

shrugs. guess it is all opinion.what some kight view as new ideas, others view as unnecessary or even hurtful........... trust me the ideas seem to pile up. maybe talk about it more if yo ucatch up more.
