You stood nervously in the hallway, surrounded by equipment and cases all stamped with the horned-heart logo of your favourite band. You clutched the VIP pass that hung around your neck, holding it up as if to pre-empt any questioning glances or confusion as to why you were backstage. You'd been led there by a member of security and greeted by the band's manager, so you knew everything should be fine, but you still felt tremendously out of place. It didn't help your nerves to think that literally any minute now, you'd be meeting the members of Sweet Devil, a band comprised of some of the most amazingly talented (and downright beautiful) women you'd ever seen on stage. You just hoped you didn't make a fool of yourself when the time came.

A few more excruciatingly long minutes passed by as you stood outside a door labelled 'Dressing Room 3', the room that you had been told was prepared for you and the band. You wondered how long you'd be permitted to hang out with them - the actually details about what the VIP pass would afford you had been oddly vague when you entered the contest. Would it be a quick meet and greet with some photo ops and some autographs before the band would be whisked away? Or would you actually be able to sit and spend a little time with these beauties? The idea made your pulse race, and not just because you were potentially about to be sat in a room surrounded by rocking, sexy women, but because they really REALLY were your favourite band!

Maybe you'd get to share a beer with them... maybe you'd get to hear some stories from their time on the road... holy god, what if you got to hear them play?! Maybe a song from the new album? Maybe something no one has even heard yet?! What if you got to hold someone's instrument?!?!

You quickly caught yourself before your inner fanboy could start foaming at the mouth. 'Relax,' you told yourself. 'The band has just put on a show, they're probably tired. Their not going to hold an impromptu jam session now, so calm down. Just be glad you're meeting them at...'

And then your eyes caught the tall, buff figure leave the dressing room further down the hall. Nell Clearfield ~ It took all your willpower not to squee out loud as the guitarist started towards you with a broad grin.

"Hey there, babe! You must be the lucky contest winner who snagged the backstage pass, right?"

Your inner fanboy swooned. She called you babe. You excitedly answered her, stumbling over your own name as you tried to introduce yourself. Not a good start... Nell half stifled a laugh and before you could even fully appreciate it, she had you wrapped in a hug, your face snugly resting on her chest. Well, no matter what else might happen tonight, this meet and greet was already the best thing ever. When she released you, she kept her strong hands on your shoulders, looking you up and down.

"It's great to meet you! Always a pleasure to meet a fan," her eyes caught on the design of your tee and she smirked. "Haha, dig the shirt, by the way! That's from our first tour, right? Damn, so you're one of fans who followed us even when we were trash! Ha, well come on, let's get you inside."

She pushed open the door behind you and led you inside, revealing a surprisingly large room. Two couches sat in an L-shape around a table, upon which sat an open cooler full of various drinks.

"Go on, help yourself and get comfortable," Nell gave you a gentle push into the room, standing just inside the doorway. "The rest of the girls will be along in just a few, then we can have some fun!"

At long, long, long last, I have returned. That's right, I'm not dead, though you'd be forgiven for thinking so. I had hoped to make the best of a bad situation and pump out loads of art during the pandemic, but unfortunately, the virus took the wind out of my sails and left me in a pretty depressed state. I'm actually still recovering. As such, my inspiration and motivation has been pretty much dead up to now (this picture has literally taken me about 3 months, if not longer... I am shamed!).

And so, here I present unto you, the triumphant return and redesign of my girl, Nell Clearfield. I have gone full human for this picture and done my best to sharpen and hone some of my skills. I must say, despite the painfully long production time, I am very happy with the finished product, and I don't think Nell has ever looked quite so good I hope you like her too.
