yes but that is not to say that hasbro an idw do not come up with amazing ideas just from there writers alone

at least you have a good practice, i tried to draw at least a OC, but i couldn't, i found tutorials, but i think the practice make a master, though.

everything takes practice if u want to do it by hand its probally easier if ur using a computer program to do the work lol

yeah, i prefer by hand, using a computer is a little complicate, i don't know how the creator of my little pony could made all the characters in a perfect concept.

well everthing lauren faust did was first concept sketches by hand then of course its given over to the animaters who used flash or whatever program they use to animate the characters
its probally easier then it seems i just dislike computer art not cause of the complication but i feel an element of the artists soul is lacking when u use cgi.. to me taking out all the lil flaws makes the piece less authentic and meaningful that it came from the artists own hands and mind
