Description More variants! Unlike my last sets, this one is based off of gemstones rather than other pokemon.

Garden is a part-grass type instead of a part-ghost, and tends to be seen where mushrooms grow. It’s a farm pest, eating up any ripe fruits, but it’s very shy and tends to hide during the day.

Spectrums are part-psychics, and like to linger where crimes have taken place. A forensic investigator’s best friend, these little pokemon can see the lingering echoes from a piece of evidence’s past and are much easier to please than other dark types.

Alchemist Sableyes are incredibly toxic, part-poison type pokemon. They feast on sulphur and stibnite, resulting in brittle spires of silvery crystal from their skins. Their bite is deadly, and it’s advised to many trainers that one should not handle one carelessly.

Miner’s Foe are known for being incredible tricksters. Their attitudes tend to run towards pride, and they don’t take well to intruders in their territory. It doesn’t help that their interactions towards humans tend to run sourly. Unwary humans find them to be beautiful for their glittery gemstones and attempt to pet them, which can result in maulings and trips to the ER.

Beehive Sables are the calmest of all, despite their part-bug typing. This domestic breed is a great pet for many people, having the alertness and friendliness of a growlithe and the creepy appeal of a gastly. Originally bred to protect combee hives from predators, they adore sweets and tend to misbehave around candy.

Aww the alchemist one looks like it's just trying to warn you of impending danger but it's too scary to be believed

They're quite happy to be owned, half-domesticated as they are. 83

Now I'm ready for a Garden beby! I'll name him Lenty! I don't have any farms where I live, so that should be fine. What kind of fruit do them tend to prefer?

Garden sableyes will eat any fruit so long as they think they're stealing it, but they have a great fondness for apple and watermelon. Eating fruits high in vitamin C improves the luster and color of their gemstones though.

I'll hide apples in "secure" places, so he thinks he's finding my secret stash!

Good idea! It'll help curb actual theft too, which is always a win win.

I've always found it weird that Sableye's eyes are not actually sable...... They're diamonds, right? And they have rubies, sapphires, and an emerald on their body, but no sable. So why is it named that? It can't be because of where they're found, that would be granite. So why?

And that's what I love about these. They are all wonderful in their own ways and they all have unique personalities. I like that. Beehive is my favorite.

They're sapphires, representing the gen that they came from...i think

No. they have a sapphire on their back and the color is not even close to the same.

I think it's due to the fact that the name Sable-eye comes from their coloration, rather than their makeup. Since sableyes are based off the Hopkinsville Goblin, it's not that they're made of sable, rather that they're sable colored.

Isn't sable a variety of gemstone that comes in multiple colors?
