2006Ah, Riot. [link] Probably one of my favorite rpg charcters of all time. My seelie redcap from the Changeling rpg system.
The song 'Bad 4 u' by Allanah Miles inspired this picture.
'Pip' (or properly Sakorja) is my husband's rpg character. He's a norse sidhe (elf) who for some reason is madly in love with Riot. He has flaunted tradition, brushed off assasination threats and much more to keep publicly declaring his love for her.
Of course Riot scoffs at it all, as she doesn't really like sidhe as they have betrayed and backstabbed the 'common' faeries too often in the past. (He's slowly winning her over though.)
Oh, in case anyone wonders, Sakorja's nickname came from Riot. He was the blonde foreign exchange student.. and since nobody could remember his name Riot started to refer to him as 'Pip'. The name stuck.
As a side note, my husband said this should have been titled 'We're having a baby!' (Due to Riot's recent pregnancy in the game.) *sighs* Yeah, he's won over Riot a bit too much if you ask me. lol

Ah, I had to edit the description. He wanted to call it that as Riot is very recently pregnant in the game/story.
She is a touch chubby though naturally.
We're still rping them. I actually just recently talked my husband into making a DA account to rp with me over forums. As we have too many rp games going to keep up with all the stories... so spreading them out bit by bit over a forum may work better.
And then other people can see our games that I'm always talking about.

I agree with your hubby, there's something weird with the way Riot's crossing her arms, it doesn't match with the curve of her belly below her arms and the swell of her breasts above.
This coming from someone who can't even draw an arm, belly or breast!

Oh, the character is only recently pregnant. That's why he said it (as she's muttering and cursing about it, while Pip is over-joyed.).
Her build looks like that as she's slightly chubby.

OH, I mean 'early' miscarriage, only a month or so into the pregnancy.
Oftentimes a 'late' scare is an early misscarriage.

My husband always tells me how Riot is like me.. but rougher around the edges. (ie. she curses, is somewhat insultive etc) But she's honest, friendly (with jibes at her friends), loyal and has serious self-esteem issues.

XD Pip looks kinda like one of my older characters from the Novel I'm working on, DelΓ©. But, its been a very long time since I've drawn him. XD Or got a chance to really work on my novel. Its stuck on a barely functioning ancient Mac.

So far Pip has been described with long flowing blonde hair, short blonde hair, clean-faced, a beard, a bit of a beard. He can never remember what he described.
So when I drew him I sat down with Pat and talked over exactly how he looked, and now it's final.

XD Yeah. He's a character in the story "Adventures of a Dragonslayer" I'm working on, only DelΓ© has a touch of red hair and a scar going down his cheek. In his world, Dragon are not evil... But dragon slayers are, at that point of time, not evil either. They are basicly hired to kill rogue dragons that have lost their minds and gone crazy violent, and to fight old dragons to the death since most of the dragons believe it is best to die in the hunt or in battle then to slowly die with their teeth falling out and their bones creaking. After him, though, is the Dark Age of Slayers, where people do it for the profit. DelΓ© turns into a Daywalker after a nasty attack by a Cave Vampire (Its a prehistoric early vampire, more bat then man, that normally turns people into drooling monsters or just kills them.). He's a mindreader that cant make the voices of others go away completely, though he can focus it on individuals, but was in such favor with the dragons that they were the ones that saved him from becoming a monster. Since the Vampire gene wasnt evolved enough, and it was caught early enough, he didn't have the sensitivity to sunlight the early vampires have. A Rune Carved into his chest with a claw and dyed with dragons blood allows him to suppliment blood and flesh with moonlight.
However, you dont really learn much about that in the first novel, since its from the point of view of his apprentice, who needs a new name other then RonΓ©. DelΓ©'s story comes after, and its more about his world aging around him from the Bronze era into modern times then fighting a man who was trying to take over the elemental dragons (Which are that worlds Demi-gods). XD His reasons are funny -- he was hoping to keep himself from being born by getting the Time Dragon to appear, so he wouldnt have to be driven to insanity by the ghost of his great grandfather, "The Dragon Master", who had the power to control the weaker willed dragons, turn humans into dragons and usually control them, and would often kill animals, place their bones and horns where he wants them, and then reanimate and reflesh them to make his one minions...
I need to refine the story some more, since I made it up when I was in 7th grade.

OH wow! That sounds so facinating! You really have a delightful imagination. Especially considering that the story started in 7th grade.
I really came to adore Pip. OOC I know why he is so madly in love with Riot, and that it isn't a hoax. He is the son of a Jarl, and is working (and destined, he's an amazingly well rounded, cool character) to become the next jarl after his father.
Faeries become the souls for humans, and the sidhe who only recently returned from Arcadia (unlike the other faeries who never left) had to newly take over people. Pip merged with the soul of a geeky, un-popular teen. Of course he added quite a bit to him as suddenly the boy had the soul of an ancient norse alfar to guide him.
But it was a couple of years before Riot met him Sakorja (Pip) was approached by the norns. They showed him the vision of who he was to become, and they also showed him a vision of another teenager from the states.. a redcap. He knew everything about who she was at that moment.. how she was truly noble and loyal, honest and brave... and he saw her in the future as a warrior queen during the end times.
The norns told him that she was to become his queen, that they were kindred souls.. a perfect match. He moved to the states and went to her school, quietly pining for her when she didn't even know his name.
The game has moved on quite a bit.. as apparently the quiet/unknown/background character Pip is rich beyond belief, a foreign prince.. etc. etc.. the typical thing that should set any girl into heart-flutters. Riot just mutters and grumbles about it, as it 'ruins her image'. lol
I'm trying to talk Pat into writing it up as a story. The whole plot for all the characters in his game were so entwined, surprising, and a story that has you on the edge of your seat.
Pip and Riot is just a background romance happening along with everything else.
