2006Ah, Riot. [link] Probably one of my favorite rpg charcters of all time. My seelie redcap from the Changeling rpg system.
The song 'Bad 4 u' by Allanah Miles inspired this picture.
'Pip' (or properly Sakorja) is my husband's rpg character. He's a norse sidhe (elf) who for some reason is madly in love with Riot. He has flaunted tradition, brushed off assasination threats and much more to keep publicly declaring his love for her.
Of course Riot scoffs at it all, as she doesn't really like sidhe as they have betrayed and backstabbed the 'common' faeries too often in the past. (He's slowly winning her over though.)
Oh, in case anyone wonders, Sakorja's nickname came from Riot. He was the blonde foreign exchange student.. and since nobody could remember his name Riot started to refer to him as 'Pip'. The name stuck.
As a side note, my husband said this should have been titled 'We're having a baby!' (Due to Riot's recent pregnancy in the game.) *sighs* Yeah, he's won over Riot a bit too much if you ask me. lol

Pip looks a bit like a real life friend of mine, only not with the long ears and long blonde hair. xDDD!! Creepy, yesh. :3

I've had that happen before. xDD Too many times, actually. I've seen...3 guys that make me think of my character Keahi as a human, trust me. xDDD It's like "He kind of looks like my character, but by a few aspects..."

D&D is fun. ^^
I often go between moods of either D&D or White Wolf. I like White Wolf alot as it's based in modern day, and uses a more realistic dice/combat system then D&D.
But D&D is fun fantasy fluff at times. ^^ And every now and then you need something a touch more 'brightly coloured' then the drab/stressful World of Darkness settings.

Dark and light, it looks like ^^ But awesomely done - Well proportioned. I like Pip's ears. Tell your husband that I love the character. And your character, Riot, is pretty too. I love her hair.

I'm never sure what's happening with her. Recently Pip let sip (by accident) some referral to thier being married. Suffice it to say he recieved a pummeling.. as he kept laughing.

It's an interesting idea to have an offline roleplay.
I know that me and Britt do that somewhat, because I collect TY beanies and we roleplay using them. And we use clothing as lakes, bookshelves as carverns ect. It's all pretty fun. I suppose it's funny to see a fourteen year-old 'playing' with teddies, but ahwell

^^ I've always loved her hair as well. I've been tempted to do that to my own hair in the past. (I once had every lock in a small braid, but that didn't last and it wasn't quite the same.)

Yeah, but Pip has been winning her over.. if it isn't obvious by her recent pregnancy.
She's fun as she was stuck in a love triangle.. as before Pip she was dating a vampire for about half a year. (A biker, leather crafter, peirced all to heck vampire.) But vampires and faeries don't mix, just being near him was slowly starting to kill her... literally.

Ooooh! Interesting story. Thats how my fiance and I where. I couldn't stand him at first. Probably because he was all 'bubbles and happiness' anmd I was going through a ruogh time and all 'doom-gloom-emoness' But things worked out in his favor lol.

Maybe you'll be lucky like myself; just before summer I was in the same situation, luckily I'd done a co-op at a vet clnic, so a clinic in another town hired me.

It's probably the main reason that I love to rp in the World of Darkness setting.. a modern fantasy setting.
In case you're curious.. Underworld was a rip off of the series. In fact it was directly taken from a White Wolf novel.

That's the interesting part, is that they 'are' kindred souls. Riot can't stand the 'noble' sidhe, but Pip is from the norse sidhe. So he's rough and tumble, and loves an honest, rowdy girl who speaks her mind.
There is much more going on as well.. but suffice it to say my husband is an 'excellent' story teller.

I was thrilled that I got it right. It is exactly his personality. (With a warrior, broadsword weilding, frenzying berserker at other times.
