Description 2014

Metis, philodox, Bone Gnawer and my FIRST WEREWOLF CHARACTER!!!

Scurries has been through a lot in her life. During the war in Chicago (from Under a Blood Red Moon) she was turned into a thin blooded vampire abomination. Sometimes the character popped up here and there in the background of games for a couple of decades until recently.
In the recent game vampires were able to turn mortal again, especially those of thin blood who had an easy time doing so. She turned mortal again, finally getting rid of the curse that was on her for two decades.

Few know of her past. The Sept of Green that she was from was destroyed by Tzimice when he ruined Manhattan - canon from a published game, and the pack she joined keeps her secret of her being a former abomination.
The taste of blood makes her retch nowadays, and she doesn't like biting in combat.

To know more about her pack read Alisse's history.  pookawitch.deviantart.com/art/…

I think this girlie would get along with my Gnawer Trash Talk. (He's also a Metis Gnawer, but a Galliard). I've really learned to love the Bone Gnawers the more reading I do into the older material. All the tribes are great - don't get me wrong - but they have quite the special charm to them.

I really like her out fit - especially the hat - and the spots on her wolf pelt.

Oh nice deed name! I like that.
The Gnawers are really interesting. Coming from somebody under the poverty line I really can empathize with them and their stance on society. I like how in the revised book they separated the Gnawers into those who try, and sort of the ones that are just lazy werewolves who are one of the bad images of the tribe.

Thanks! I enjoy him. I gave him the Rat Buddy perk, so there are Ratkin that follow him everywhere! XD His more snooty pack mates were mortified cause they woke up to find little furry bodies snuggling in their beds.

I agree! I've never had too much either, so being able to join a tribe that is more practical or down to earth is great. I always liked the NPCs they generated too. (Getting to GM as them was fantastic).

You know how much I've said I like copying. Do you think copying is a decent way to improve? Is it important to know human anatomy and proportions like the back of my hand? The only way to do that is to draw from actual people. I can't do that, not at least live. If I had money, I'd prefer to hire models to pose for me, pick who I draw, but I'd be reluctant to take a life class. Have you ever done that? The best I can do is photos.

Only if it's kept very private as a practice sketch and never really shown or claimed as your own work, at least that's my opinion.

If you need to learn anatomy try looking for stock photos, there are tons of them on DA, just type in 'stock photo'. Make sure to read the person's rules, some want links back, other's don't mind if it's just for drawing pose reference.
Senshi Stock is a really great place to start.

I went to art school for a year (did my foundation year) so I did go to some nude life classes. I also did some costume based model drawings in high school (not nude there, of course. lol )

Well, I have copied, with permission, and posted here. I'm halfway decent at copying styles, at least simple ones lol.

I agree. I really should do some sketching from the special YouTube nude vids I have. The model gets into different poses and you have a timer on the left, starts at 1min.
