I didn't really like MGS2 very much. If all the games of the saga were like that one, I wouldn't be such a huge fan of it.
Raiden is a pretty useless and stereotyped character, all Solidus was ever good at is only being a mere trick to fool people in MGS4, but more importantly, I hated Rosemary so much.
Vamp and Fortune were probably the only things I found interesting. Oh, and also that awesome scene when the AI starts going crazy.
And I'm glad they at last repaired to the idiocy of Ocelot's "magic hand" with MGS4.... I'm SO glad they did.

Reeeeeally, MGS2 is your favorite??! O_O; ...Even more than MGS3?? Do tell, why do you think it was the best episode? I told you my reasons as to why I personally didn't like it too much (aaand another reason was the confused, messy plot), but I'm curious to know the motives of someone who thinks "Sons of Liberty" was the best Metal Gear.
Of course, it's not that MGS2 wasn't cool. It was the very first game of the saga that I had played and it wasn't so bad if I liked it so much to actually play through ALL of it (considering I'm one who usually gets bored of the videogames before she finishes them) and decide to play the other episodes, too! But that's the point - once I played the other episodes of the Solid saga, I thought that MGS2 was the weakest one.

I dunno'...maybe it's because I have the Substance version with all of the extra stuff? But I love the SoL gameplay.
I really don't know. xD I mean, I loved the Twin Snakes and Snake Eater. Twin Snakes was the first MGS game I've ever played and Snake Eater has all of those camo options and capturing food to eat, etc., etc.
And don't get me wrong - Snake > Raiden ANY DAY. I absolutely love the opening sequence. There are 50 bajillion easter eggs. Pliskin's totally hawt. Fatman makes me giggle. And as annoying as Emma is, she's a better tag-a-long than EVA.
...Maybe it's the story? I dunno'. I just love it. xD

Well what you heard was straight up fecal matter. I mean yeah the graphics suck but it was made on a system that is ten years old. But besides that it is awesome. Ya know all the VR training you can have on Substance? Well imagine all that except with only Solid Snake and a couple of missions with the Ninja. Not to mention there are some cool missions you can do. I LOVELLOOOOOVVEEE the mystery missions. They are the best. Yes the graphics are bad and if your not into the VR training you might not like it but all the special missions are awesome and the VR is too but I am just weird. Though your a mgs fan it is so worth looking into it. And then if you don't like it you can be mad at me. lol

Ebay but someone will probably want you to fork over an arm and leg for it when at the time I bought it for eight bucks. XD I knew I had a feeling in my tweleve year old bones that I should have bought two of them. XD
But yeah there are TONS of VR MGS one type missions on it. Very fun and worth it.

It really isn't. Not to mention if you buy the Essentials pack at certain Gamestops they dont even give you the original cases wanna know why? BECAUSE THEY ARE SELLING THE ORIGINAL ONES SEPARATE! Pisses me off. I want to get the Essentials collection but I want it sealed up bran new. Not this open shit. And even when the company has opened it to see you black cases with the games in it they still charge you full price. <_<

Oh and walmart and other such stores you can get the original cases but at some (not all) Gamestops they take it off and try to sell you black boxes with the sleeve over the blackboxes. <_< Pisses me off.

MGS two at gamestop is about five to seven bucks here if that I mean I have seen it so cheap that it was about two dollars. So I wouldn't be surprised if some of them didn't work. Though if you EVER see substance there it is going to be around thirty and if it is not buy them all and sell them on ebay.

I ordered mine from Gamestop along with reserved my copy of MGS three. So that might have been why it was so much. XD lol
Well on the playstation version of mgs one you can't really tell his age the graphics are so bad but on TTS I thought he looked younger because there were less wrinkles in his face.
