Well, calming isn't what comes to mind first watching it. however it is very dynamic due to is structure. The focal point would be more interessting if you'd tra shifting it a bit to the right, I think. I like the colours as well, but I'd be curious to see it in other shades than the typical ones. have you considered emerald shades before?

No but I will for sure try to encorperate some emerald into my next project to see how it turns out. I dunno why I find this wallpaper so calming, I guess its just how it mixes with my dark desktop theme and the music I listen to for the most part. Thank you very much for your comment though, It will give me lots to think about when I start my new projects.

I often think that the digital artist don't use the full scope of colours but are rather transfixed by shapes and structures. I use identical colours of slightly differnt hues or saturations, quite a lot in my work. I'll keep an eye on you (literally I put devwatch on you). My desktop is a lot more unimaginative, it's a work computer afterall

Yeah most peoples desktops differ from mine, I am a man who loves customization, maybe thats one of the reasons Ive gotten into digital design. Thanks for the watch BTW im keeping an eye on you as well, your great to talk to and you have some great work in your gallery.

Might be because you have your reselution set higher or lower then what the wallpaper is set at. your reselution should be 1024 x 768 if you want to use any of my wallpapers.

blue is suppose to represent calm and purification of the mind. its nice to see such a chaotic representation of purification, in some way it could be the second between ''the calm before the storm'' and ''the storm''...
ok what am i talking about now... sorry i think your work brings me inspiration.

Thanks, you picked out my insperation to, I love blue and I use it in almost every peice I do. I wanted to ride the very edge of calmness with this piece.
