I've given some workshops in drawing manga and I like to share my drawing experience.Lately I have been getting questions of beginning artists if I could give them tips to improve their skills.
This morning I did a few.
The written comments are in Dutch, so here's a translation:
"I don't draw dragons that well. Mosly they are elegant creatures with snake-like bodies.
When you draw a side-view, try to show that the creature has 4 paws and 2 wings (or 2 legs and 2 arms if it's a human).
Sometimes images of animal anatomy can help."

Mmm... i love it! its really helped me! but the only thing is the dragon you drew looks like it shouldn't have such a long neck. that just my opinion. Do you have any ideas on how to like draw them all skeletal because you'd pretty much be looking through them because they have no flesh and i was just wondering is you had any tips.

Take a look at photographs of skeletons of dinosaurs. I think those would be the closest things to resemble dragon skeletons.

Ik zou er dan wel in vervolg bijzetten (in een geval als dit) dat je wel aanraadt te experimenteren, omdat het niet de enige mogelijkheid is. Ik weet niet hoe goed het persoon in kwestie al was voordat hij/zij deze kritiek kreeg, maar als dat persoon nog niet echt geweldig is heb je wel kans dat ze de raad iets te letterlijk neemt en variatie dan juist ontweken wordt (specialisatie in een type if you may).
Ik heb het zelf ook al meegemaakt namelijk, met mensen aan wie ik raad gaf. Soms wilden ze het nog net iets te letterlijk nemen, en dan is het vervelend om te moeten zeggen dat variatie ook goed is voor het leerproces. Heh, nou denk ik dat ik wel iets nuttigs heb kunnen zeggen 
Maar in elk geval; je herinnert me eraan dat ik eigenlijk ook eens wat lessen moet gaan maken; in iets waar ik dan weer wat vanaf weet

Ik zeg mensen meestal dat ze zoveel mogelijk verschillende stijlen en materialen moeten proberen. Dit is namelijk superbelangrijk om een eigen stijl te ontwikkelen.
En het is inderdaad vreselijk leuk om gemotiveerde mensen op weg te helpen met tekenen.

I've been able to find a dragon skeleton image on the internet before, and the rib cage detail was always quite helpful. Like the fantasy creatures skeleton you put in, except with wings. If you're looking for an addition.
