This bird study is yet another textural experimentation exploring glitchy textures in a traditional medium (like the cats)
The artwork itself serves as a more conventional draft for a more experimental series of artwork I'm planning to make later one
Just like the superflat cat series this artwork borrows from my interest in Patrick Caulfield, superflat movement, and traditional eastern art
I think the best part of making this work was that the textural experimentation done here has a lot of interesting potential for other artworks
