Description
Taken from the greek words for 'fish' and 'man', Icthandros are a recently discovered species.

Taxonomists classify them as akin to merfolk, but until their genes are sequenced and examined closely, it will be hard to tell just exactly what these humanoid creatures are. Physically smaller than most humans, the tallest discovered specimen stands at a whopping 5'6" (approx. 1.6m), with the smallest at 4'0" (approx. 1.2m). Their most notable trait is the large, gaping mouth on their neck filled with razor-sharp teeth, and - though we assume most of the specimens we've come in contact with are male - the lack of both genitalia and any sort of human-like secondary sex characteristic.

More information will come as we investigate and discover more about this mysterious species.

whew. finally done with a personal project that took absolutely forever to puzzle out. so yeah, my first species. Figured I'd give something to Pip (the darling in both my icon and profile picture), since he's been with me for a while.
