Hello everyone, so I'm sure you are wondering about this reference pic, but before that some context. You see, I've always been a really big Kirby fan and also a really big Precure fan as well, I've always related both franchises a lot for multiples reasons. Now I know everyone has at least this one fanfic that they really like and want to support with their life, well the other day I found this really cool fanfic by Agent_9 in AO3 named Hoshi no Purikura that is a Precure AU of the Kirby games, so of course I had to draw some art for it, so let's introduce our hero of this fic shall we.

Name: Kira (Kirby) Popopo
Cure Alias: Cure Sleep (Star was taken)
Age: 15
Pronouns: They/them

Bio:
Kira (Kirby) Popopo is an average teenager going through their sophomore year, with deep pink hair, with an "always ready to help" style of optimistic personality, living with their two siblings, Banri and Sal Popopo. On their first day of school however, a call for help from the world of miracles, Popstar, would smack them right in the face, literally, in the form of the Dream Pact, a magical star shaped make-up compact that would let Kira gain special powers to protect Popstar from something (the greater forces of the universe weren't sure). By shouting "Pretty Cure, Star Shine" they transform into the warrior of the starry sky, Cure Sleep, (the better fitting names were taken) and gain the power to copy the abilities of their surroundings to defeat their enemies, becoming the savior needed by Popstar (probably).

Family: Banri and Sal Popopo (siblings)
Friends: Tomoe and Mahora Webe, Maruku Aarman, Ado Makura

Also for those that don't really know about the series here's a quick summary of each one:

Kirby: A really cute platformer series for the Nintendo series of consoles that is know for the adevntures of it's protagonist Kirby and his friends (even though some of them are to tsundere or proud to admit it) to save their home dreamland from: monsters, evil wizards, demons and eldritch abominations, all the while destroying everything on their path. Thanks to the fact that there is a new game coming soon now it's the perfect time to get into the series, don't forget to begin studying the ever expansive lore to get the secret story of the pause screens.

Pretty Cure: A magical girl anime franchise known for making a series a year since 2004, produced by Toei, Precure is about the legendary warriors of the same name and their journeys defending the innocents from the season's specific force of evil through the powers of love, friendship and good old fistacuffs (with the exeption of the Kira Kira team). Each season features a different team of girls fighting different factions of some evil with gripping hand to hand combat (again exept for Kira Kira) with themes varying from: dark and light, nature, music, selfishness and selflessness and sweets (guess which one). While hard to find most of the seasons, the OG, Kira Kira, and all seasons since Healing Good can be found on Crunchyroll by the normal process, unfortunally there's no dub because reasons regarding capitalism and, as far as I know, the only one is a really old canadian dub of the OG that didn't get far, there's some clips somewhere on youtube and whateverr that THING Saban (curse them) tried to do on Netflix with Smile (personally I thought it wasn't that bad, mediocre at best but still, tolerable, we don't speak of Doki Doki), in any case please watch it, it's literally on Crunchyroll. Don't forget that the new season Delicious Party is coming in a few weeks.

In any case, please read/play/watch these series and read the fic, Agent_9 deserves the hits on her/their fic, and if I managed to at least get a single person interested in one of them (hoping into the Precure side of things) then my work shall be done, any way, see you soon!
