Only reason I ever found out about this picture was because of my friend sending it to me on my phone, I then proceeded to send it to two of my other friends, one of them who doesn't like ponies but doesn't criticize me about it, the other still hasn't responded to me about the photo, even though he knows I would most likely send that kind of photo to him, he just doesn't care.. I then came across I on e621 and had to find the link to see if it was on deviantart or not so I could favorite it. I can just picture either the songs 'Equestria, Fuck Yeah!', the clean version 'Equestria, Friendship!', or 'America, Fuck Yeah!' playing in the background. That's the only thing missing.

But I agree, some berries do make great pies.Β I used to have a strawberry glaze pie recipe that involved making your own crust and everything else.Β It was when I lived with my grandmother, who had to take dialysis treatments.Β It was a recipe designed for renal patients.Β You topped it with whipped cream (or Cool HWHip, whichever you preferred).
I'll have to see if I can find it one day.Β Very little baking involved IIRC.Β Would be a great Summertime pie.

It's alright, the idea was compleatly American. And where I live, there are several wild Blackberry bushes around the creeks. When I was little, my mom would send me and my brother down there to go pick 'em all. I'm not sure if we were able to make a full pie though.

Yeah I have a Facebook friend/former friend of my mom's (until they've had a falling-out of sorts) who lives in north-central Cali (just north or Santa Barbara) who's complained about the drought a bit.
