So this is yet another experiment with my new tablet. This time, I only used it to color, the lineart was drawn on paper with pencil and then scanned.What is happening is the picture is that Sokka and Toph are locked in a cell (like in Ba Sing Se), Sokka can't see ('cuz it's really dark) and Toph can 'see' and is helping him calm down. Something along those lines.
This was loosely based off a scene from Mattimeo.
And to think I was able to color this with my awful cold (hence the webcam) *hackcough* ulch...

I really love the concept behind this. ^^
Also, this is a great first attempt at coloring with your new tablet. There's a way to clean up the lines in Photoshop so that they appear solid and it will eliminate the white between your colors and pencilwork. I'd suggest inking your work and then scanning so that it would be easier to clean up in Photoshop, and also looking into tutorials. I was going to ink it, but when I tried the paper I drew it on began to bleed. So then I had to trace over it with a sheet of tracing paper, forced to used pencil.

My friend used to scan her drawings and then print them out and ink them with a ballpoint pen. It was really effective. Maybe try that? ^^
