It is I, Portia. I painted a self portrait this weekend because I wanted to do one for all my new friends at college and I figured I'd start with mine since I'm out of practice. Hopefully I can do one a week and make it in time!The canvas is a LOT bigger than the other ones I did (2400x3600 so it can be at print resolution) so this took me around 5hrs instead of 2-4. If I wanted to get really detailed, I'm sure it would take even longer.... One day. *sigh* As it is, I think this is still more detailed + better? than the other portraits I've done, despite not really getting a lot of practice in between. Maybe I just needed some breathing space.
The picture in the bg is one I took in Oregon and I'll be using more of my own for the other four portraits. I kind of take a crap ton of pictures, which you can find on my Instagram . There's also a picture of me on there so you can compare.
Sometime I might compile them and post them because it's such a shame I don't post any here! College is still going well, I'm glad it's almost break, and I'm sorry I'm still not very active. Thank you to those who stick around!!

Ah, a full view version of this is nice~~~ I really like the way the hair strands came out. Well done. Really nice subtle colors overall.
I'm still insanely jealous of how something like this only takes you 5 hours??? haha. I need to try out a more painty program or something.
