So I guess I'm not dead yet. Even though I think it's been four months since I last posted? To be fair, I've still been sketching in my sketchbook every now and then (er...once a month?) but I'll admit, I haven't been drawing like I used to. Which is probably why my improvement is getting stagnant.

That said, the painting portion of this took maybe 3hrs, which is...not great, but good for me haha. The last hour was me screeching at the background and slowly dying. I hope I get back to drawing and writing when summer starts, but I'll admit I'm a little nervous. What if I never do?

I dreamed this girl two nights ago—a girl made of porcelain with the brightest, fluffiest orange hair I'd ever seen. She was beautiful, and smiling, and caught in the light of golden hour. I came up to her and looked closer at her arm, realizing she had not skin but ceramic. "Are you real?" I asked. "Why would I not be real?" she said. It's a weird question, for someone who knew they were asleep.
