I really love the way you drew his hair, muzzle, and fur! They look so fluffy and soft. Your coloring throughout this is also spectacular! All of the details, shines, and shading you incorporated into it make everything about this so nice to look at. One of my favorite parts is definitely Nova's eyes and hair though! The shines and little hearts in his eyes make them look so glossy and cute, while the soft shading in his hair gives it this neat realistic vibe. *v* And in regards to the background, you made the perfect choice! Nova LOVES space, and the galaxy color you chose goes very nicely with his fur colors. >v<
