Sometimes Daz gets studio stuff from DM's store at Renderosity, so we get the catalog in the mail here at the studio. So Madeline and I are flipping through it, thinking about stuff we might do when she sees one of the promo photos for Jolie Heels. It's a leggy model in a circle cut-out, probably made of plastic or maybe painted and enameled plywood. Quality studio gear of type DM sells. It's the kind of perfect set up for Madeline, who is also a leggy model. Which is why we did with Ryan, because that's how we roll. We also decided to do this the hard way and asked Modo to make us a cut-out circle prop, and then got something that weigh almost a ton, made out of marble.

So I looked at the photo, directed Ryan, and…damn! I don't say this very often, because it's so rarely true, but this turned out even better than the original. And it's not because we're using different shoes. This might be the photo Ryan keeps when she gets old and decides to quite modeling.

Daz and Modo are responsible for the set, hair and clothes. Iray did some fine work with a three light set-up. Affinity went to town on the finishing. Ryan complained once that the marble was cold AF, but then shut up and looked adorable.
