Description
Note: This competition is not open yet! This is just a Beta for feedback- it's the first competition I've run. Watch the journals or deviations on this account for when this competition is live.I'd love feedback on: The rewards- are they reasonable? The goal- is it clear? The rules- are they easy to understand? Does this sounds like fun?
Thanks!
Rules:
+Fav this deviation.
+Look at the other submissions before you create yours so you aren't copying anybody (submissions are illustrated ideas- yours should be unique)
+Idea should be plausible, low-tech, and non-magical (see the example)
+Submission should be relatively clean and easy to understand ( Take pride in your work
+Submission can be in any style -including photographs- but must be made entirely by you (and your friends, if they help you make a photo). No bases or stock allowed (unless you made the bases or stock yourself). Please only use characters you own or have permission to use (avoid copyrighted content).
+All submissions should be PG13 at the worst- nothing nasty or lude. No sexual themes.
+Post a link to your submission in the comments. Please include a very brief (one sentence) explanation of what it's about for others' convenience.
+Make sure you link back to this competition to let people know what your deviation is for in your description.
+Make sure to include your name and copyright information in the deviation itself for credit, and a readable link to your page if you want (some of these may be bundled together in a bigger image of the best submissions for convenience)
+You may make multiple submissions if you want, but please wait a day between submissions to give other people a chance (otherwise the first people at this may take all of the ideas and make it really hard for later submissions). Your participation reward will be based on your best submission (it won't add up).
That's it. I'd appreciate if you would watch me, but you don't have to if you don't want to (although, you may see more competitions that way).
ProTips:
Winning:
The winner will be chosen based on originality of the concept, and the execution. If you pick an obvious idea, it's less likely to win. If you pick something really brilliant I hadn't thought of, it's more likely to win. If you do a really good job and work hard on the execution of the piece as high quality art, and really put your heart into it (hopefully better than my example) it will have a higher chance of winning.
If there's a tie, the person who got more into the competition will win (e.g. sharing it with friends, writing about it, etc.), but only if there's a tie. I would appreciate if you shared this competition with friends, but I don't want to make spamming people part of the competition
Tools and improvisation:
Characters can use basic tools- I've drawn dozens of these (though I don't want to show many, since that would defeat the point), and in many they use rope, and improvise using environment.

Assuming this is do-able in the world of your game, what are the abilities tools, and resources available? The only definition you gave is it cannot be magical and it should be low-tech. What defines low-tech?

Thanks! I updated with a list of some items. Does that help much?
Abilities are just plausible human abilities; maybe not from an average person, but from somebody fit and keen on adventuring.
